The Ottawa, Erie, and Sandusky County Republican Central Committees will be hosting a Tri-County Congressional Candidate Forum for all Republican primary candidates vying to defeat Democrat Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur and represent Ohio’s Ninth Congressional District. Republican candidates Steve Lankenau, JR Majewski, Craig Riedel, Derek Merrin, and Terry Smith are currently slated to attend the Candidate Forum and speak to the public about the state of the race for Ohio’s Ninth Congressional District, what they stand for, and why they believe they are best-positioned to win the district in 2024. The Candidate Forum will be held on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Firelands Association of Realtors Hall in Sandusky, Ohio (2710 Campbell Street, Sandusky, OH 44870).
